The purpose of this study is to analyze the The Relationship between Etiquette Awareness and Juvenile Delinquency along with Participation in Adolescent' Taekwon-do Practice. To accomplish the purpose of this study, the 421 subjects were selected using the systematic stratified cluster random sampling method from students who study in middle and high school in Seoul 2003.
The Survey questionaries were used to collect data. The questionaries for Participation in Taekwon-do Tranining was Sport Participation and degree on Scale developed by Kenyon and Schuts(1970), and etiquette awareness standardized by Jang, Kyoung-Sun(1993). And the questionaries for Juvenile Delinquency scale was Expansion developed by Jung(1988) and Lim(1986).
The statistical methods utilized in this study for analyzing the collected data were reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, One-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis.
From the analysis of this study, the following conclusions were obtain:.
Firstly, adolescent' Taekwon-do practice participation are different according to etiquette awareness. In detail, the Taekwon-do practice participation group are lower in the delinquency than the non-participation and the participation in adolescent's Taekwon-do practice partially influence on the etiquette awareness.
Secondly, adolescent' Taekwon-do practice participation are different according to juvenile delinquency. In detail, the Taekwon-do practice participation group are lower in the delinquency than the non-participation and the participation in adolescent's Taekwon-do practice partially influence on the juvenile delinquency.
Thirdly, adolescent's etiquette awareness through participation in adolescent's Taekwon-do practice influence on the juvenile delinquency. In detail, the higher etiquette awareness, the higher juvenile delinquency.
