사회복지실천 교육과 사회복지사 양성 = 교과과정과 교과서 내용을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리나라의 사회복지실천 교육은 그간 지속적으로 규모가 성장하였다. 과정을 개설하는 대학도 늘어났고 교과서의 출판도 확대되었다. 사회복지 l급에 대한 국가자격시험제도의 도입과 함께 교과목 내용의 표준화도 급속히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 사회복지실천 현장에서는 사회복지실천 교과 내용에 대한 불만이 지속적으로 나타나고 있다.
본고에서는 현재 이루어지고 있는 사회복지설천 현장의 사회복지실천 교육에 대한 요구와 관련 교과목들의 표준화 양상 그리고 대학의 교육과정에 대해 살펴보았다. 사회복지실천방법론 영역의 3개 교과목인 사회복지실천론, 사회복지실천기술론, 지역사회복지론의 교과서 내용에 대해 분석해 보았다.
우선, 학부과정의 사회복지실천 교과목은 최근 그 내용의 표준화가 이루어지고 있으나 교과서의 내용을 볼 때, 실천적용을 위해서는 구체성이 떨어지고 추상적이었다. 실습시간이 적은 우리나라의 현실에서 사회복지실천방법론 교과서는 충분한 구체성을 가지고 있어야 하지만 너무 많은 내용과 이론을 추상적으로 소개하기에 급급한 구성을 가지고 있음이 나타났다. 또한 최근의 실천현장 욕구와 관련된 지역사회기반의 실천과 사례관리에 대한 내용을 다루지 못하고 고전적인 모형에 의존하고 있음도 지적되었다. 많은 교과서가 발간되고 있으나 지나치게 동일한 구성을 가지는 경우가 많아 획일화의 모습도 우려되는 상황이다.
자격시험과 관련되어 실천교육이 이론적으로 획일화되어가는 문제를 극복하기 위해서는 구체적인 현장의 설천욕구와 한국적 실천상황을 반영한 사회복지실천 교육과 교과서의 과제가 제기된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The social work education has been expanded in Korea. The growing number of college and university has established social work education course. The number of textbook about social work practice has amazingly growing every year. The first grade social worker is certificated through nationally standardized examination in Korea. As a result of that, the curriculum and the contents of social work education has been standardized too. But discontent about social work education has been prominent from social worker in practice.
This study focused on the analysis of current standardization trends in social work education and the contents of social work textbook in Korea. Especially, five widely-used social work textbooks in three subject- ‘theories of social work practice’, ‘skills and techiniques for social work practice’, ‘community welfare and practice’-were analyzed.
As a results of the analysis, the following is founded; Many social work textbooks printed in current are similar and have a lack of diversity. The contents of the textbook in Korea are too abstract for an effective practice in social work field. Because social work practicum in undergraduate course is very insufficient in both quantity and quality, subjects about social work practice need to be enough concrete to adapt for real practice. But too many theories and methods are introduced in a subjects and it is a cause that those textbooks had a shortage in direct and concrete guidance for social work practice. Community-based social work practice and case management methods have not been treated enough for its importance. It also needs to be mentioned that consideration about practice in poverty context and Korean cultural context is not introduced in the textbook.
