다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was carried out to develop the objective, effective curriculum of Department of Home Economics campatible with the characteristic of Junior College, to magnify the employment of Home Economics graduates.
To attain this aim, first of all , the material was collected by means of book reviews and the various enquete, interview, conference, in which the related professors, students, industrial men and secondary school the s tatistical methods.
Then they were analyzed and discussed through thestatistical methods.
The results obtained were as follows;
The goal of education should be: (l) to cultivate the characters of home managers that administrate home life reasonally and scientifically(2) to produce the back-bone workers who are able to contribute to home economics-related industry.
This curriculum is proposed to train the students to be a secondary school practical teacher , infant teacher, cooky, clothing technician, fashion designer etc.
