복지국가 스웨덴과 개신교 디아코니아 관련성 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

스웨덴은 현대 복지국가 가운데 보편복지가 가장 발달한 나라이다. 이러한 성취의 이면에는 정치적인 요소로 사회민주주의 이념과 잘 발달된 노동조합 그리고 사용자와 노동자간의 협력과 연대가 있다. 흔히들 스웨덴 복지국가에 대한 평가는 이러한 틀속에서 논의된다. 하지만 이러한 정치사회적 요인외에 종교개혁의 사상을 바로 받아들여 초기 복지입법과정에서 도덕적 지침들을 설정하는 데에 영향을 준 것을 간과할 수 없다. 이 논문은 마르틴 루터의 사상을 초기부터 받아들인 스칸디나비아 국가들의 디아코니아적 요소들과 특히 스웨덴 모델이 가능하게 된 요인들을 분석한다. 더 나아가 개신교 사회복지운동인 디아코니아가 현재까지 스웨덴 루터교회에 끼친 영향을 정리해본다. 스칸디나비아 국가들(특히 스웨덴)은 마르틴 루터의 종교개혁사상에 깊은 영향을 받았다. 영향사적으로 이미 확인된 그들의 복지국가를 향한 의지는 유럽통합과정에서 ‘디아코니아’라는 사회문화적 에토스를 통해 유럽전역에 확대해 나가는 시점에 있다. 이 연구는 자신의 분명한 특성이나 정체의식이 없거나 현실의 요구에 미래적 구상이 없는 교회의 디아코니아 실천은 성장할 수 없음을 보여준다. 결국 교회가 디아코니아 시설과 함께 협력하여 “디아코니아적 교회”가 되게 하는 과제가 있다. 스웨덴의 복지국가형성과정에서 개신교의 디아코니아 영향을 비판적으로 성찰함으로 한국교회의 복지 실천과정에 타산지석으로 삼아 ‘디아코니아적 교회’를 형성해 나가는데 활용을 해야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Sweden is one of the most developed modern welfare states. Behind all of this achievement there are, as political factors: a social democratic ideology, a well-developed labor organization, and cooperation and solidarity between the user and the worker. Frequently, the Swedish welfare state is discussed in this structure. However, aside from political and social factors, one must not ignore how the religious reformation thought, which was accepted during the early stages of developing welfare related laws, had an influence in forming the moral guidelines. This thesis will deal with the diaconia factors of Scandinavian countries that had accepted Martin Luther thought in the early stages, especially the factors that allowed the Swedish model to succeed. Furthermore, it will explain how the Protestant social welfare movement diaconia has influenced the Swedish Lutheran churches up until the present. Scandinavian countries(especially Sweden) have been influenced deeply by the Reformation thought of Martin Luther. In the procedure of Europe unification, their intention for the welfare states that has been already identified by the influentialism, has been expanding all over the Europe, through the social cultural ethos - ‘diaconia’. This study shows that the diaconia practice of the church that has no its evident property or identity, and has no its future plan for the present request, cannot be advanced. In the end, the church should cooperate with the diaconia facilities and must be ‘the diaconia church’. By critically reviewing how diaconia, of the Protestant church, influenced the development of the Swedish welfare state, the Korean Church’s welfare process should use this example when it tries to become "a diaconia-church".
