일제 강점기 일간지를 통해 본 경남·부산지역 아동문학(2) - 동아일보와 조선일보의 게재 작품을 중심으로 = A Study on the Juvenile Literature of Kyungnam and Busan through the Daily Presses during the Colonial Period(2) - centering around works published in Donga-ilbo, Chosun-ilbo(1931~1940)

This study aims to make a list of juvenile literature in Kyungnam and Busan region through the daily presses, and to grasp its characteristics and development during the colonial period(1910-1945). For this, I have secondly surveyed and researched nursery rhymes, stories, and dramas which were published in Donga-ilbo, Chosun-ilbo(1931~1940). The results so far achieved are in substance as follows.
1. I could find out 61 pieces of nursery rhymes and 18 pieces of nursery stories(including dramas) as a work of juvenile literary man from Kyungnam or Busan in Donga-ilbo(1931~1940).
2. Those nursery rhymes contain 22 pieces of Dae-Woo Nam(from Hadong)'s, 5 pieces of Dae-Bong Kim(from Kimhae)'s and Maeng-Won Shin(from Hadong)'s by each. Judging from these facts, we can know well that three above writers were actively engaged as a juvenile literary writer in Donga-ilbo. In addition to this, we can check that many writers of Kyungnam and Busan published their nursery rhymes in Donga-ilbo, such as Jeong-Han Kim(from Busan), Ju-Hong Lee(from Habcheon), Gu-Wol Lee(lived in Tongyoung), Eung-Du Jang(from Tongyoung), and the others.
3. Among 18 pieces of nursery stories, there were 11 pieces of Jeong-Ho Lee(from Euiryung)'s, 4 pieces of Ju-Hong Lee's, and Dae-Woo Nam's. Especially Ju-Hong Lee's stories give us rich narrative interests and instructions with a sence of humor and satire, and Dae-Woo Nam's ones have the structure of sentence.
4. In Chosun-ilbo(1931-1940), I could find out 31 pieces of nursery rhymes and 8 pieces of nursery stories as a work of juvenile literary man from Kyungnam or Busan.
5. Won-Su Lee was the best active poet among juvenile literary writers of Kyungnam and Busan in Chosun-ilbo at that times by announcing 13 pieces of nursery rhymes. Most of his rhymes are works discovered newly. Except him, Eung-Du Jang and Maeng-Deok Shin(from Hadong) published 3 works, and Go-Song Shin(from Eunyang) inserted 2 works in this newspaper.
6. Among 8 pieces of nursery stories, only a tale of Ju-Hong Lee, that is, <a spiral shellfish in a rice field>(Godongi) is worth reading. Except this, Nam-Ju Kim(from Kimhae)'s nursery stories were abridged editions for radio broadcasting, and most of Jeong-Ho Lee's were tales in translation. I could apprehend that juvenile literature in Kyungnam and Busan region was on the decline in Chosun-ilbo.
