소년범 비행성 평가도구의 재범예측력 연구 : -비행촉발요인조사서와 PAI- = Study on the ability of recidivism prediction of a risk assessment tool for juvenile delinquent

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of recidivism prediction of written investigation of risk factors related to juvenile delinquency and PAI which is currently used in police investigation to assess the proclivity to offenses of juvenile delinquents. To certify the effect, written investigation of risk factors related to juvenile delinquency and PAI were used to assess misdeed of 3,596 juvenile delinquents of juvenile crime included in the police system which was enforced nationwide from November 2005 to December 2006. Then, the researcher followed the second offense of the same juveniles in the same period. If no second offense is committed in the above period, 0 point was endowed and second offense is committed more than once, 1 point was endowed irrespective of times of second offense so as to distinguish the group of recidivist and group of non-recidivist. Analyzing the cutoff score in 8 point of written investigation of risk factors related to juvenile delinquency, it was found that the cutoff score in 8 point well reflects the result of predict of written investigation of risk factors related to juvenile delinquency.
There was significant difference in total score of written investigation of risk factors related to juvenile delinquency between the group of recidivist and the group of non-recidivist.
It was found that the juveniles having previous offense, high score in ANT scale and shorter period until second offense within 3 months have higher risk of recidivism. According to statistical verification, written investigation of risk factors related to juvenile delinquency and PAI discriminate and predict risk of recidivism quite exactly with discriminate accuracy of 69.9%.？
