Every region could have Spatial System of its own. Spatial Systems are consisted with Spatial Process which is developed evolutional processes through the historical times and Spatial Structure which Is resulted by patterns derived from phenomena evolution on space. Spatial Structures of two Land Reclaimed Regions that were fixed on by Japanese Land Reclamation Project at tidal marshes on Western Coast of Chullabukdo in 1920s are subjected on this study and tried to find out the patterns of Spatial Structure through the Comparative Method with system-models and maps on these homogeneous regions. Followings are study results;
1) At developing period, Project planner's intentions are strongly reflected on the Spatial Structure. All of the Spatial Structures are consolidated into‘Unit Farm Producing System’which is characterized marginal resource exploitation policy. House type, settlement pattern, field pattern and irrigation systems are consolidated into a Normtypen (grid type) and controlled under Farming Corperation's supervision.
2) Landscapes of Spatial Structures of these two regions are characterized (I-IT) pattern of landscape that deserve a analytical, more manageable and orderly aspect, but it lacks in synthetical, harmonious aspect with surroundings. It gives the Spatial Structure more synical and mechanical impression.
3) Embankment, house type, settlement patterns, field patterns, irrigation systems and more especially roads are important constituents of Spatial Structure Patterns of these Land Reclaimed Regions. Most of agricultural base installments and Basic needs supply facilities are agglomerated along the main road (path).
4) At Stabilizing period, Economic systems of these regions are changed into a‘Region Centered Producing System’. This change invited a broad diffusion of rice warehouse and rice refineries on these regions for the sake of farmers. Spatial Structure of these regions are differentiated by the degree of accessibility of nearby city that is roled a regional Central Place.
