가족특성과 부모의 양육방식이 청소년의 또래애착에 미치는 영향 = The impact of family characteristics and parenting behavior on adolescents` attachment toward peer

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine how parenting behavior and family characteristics impact on peer attachment of adolescents. For this purpose, the data was obtained from the first Wave of Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) 2010, which was administered by the National Youth Policy Institute. The subject consisted of 1,961 first grade middle school students, who are living with both parents and not living in multicultural family. Using SPSS 20, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson``s correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis have been done to analyse the collected data. The results of this study were as follows: first, in the relationship between family characteristics and peer attachment, ``existence/non-existence of siblings`` factor is only one factor among several diverse factors in family characteristics significantly related with peer attachment. That is, adolescents having siblings obtain more higher level of peer attachment than adolescents, who dose not have siblings. Second, peer attachment has positive relationship with ``concerning parenting style``, whereas it has negative relationship with ‥inconsistent parenting style``. That is the more parents take care of children to love, the more peer attachment of young people intensified, if parents show inconsistencies parenting style, peer attachment of young people is low. Third, In precedent studies relationship of between the peer attachment and household income (Lee sun-ae,2009; Suk ju-young； Park in-jeon,2009) shows statistically meaningful impact. But It is very remarkable that this research shows those relationship of between the peer attachment and household income is not have meaningful and It has nothing to do with each other. Based on the results of these studies, discussed the suggested point of such programs and welfare policy for youth target.
