Objectives: This study examines the application of a digital treatment tool based on cognitive-behavioral couple therapy (CBCT) in real-world marital counseling and explores its potential as a supportive tool for couples and family therapists. Although prior research has demonstrated the effectiveness of digital therapy tools, limited attention has been given to their development process, distinctive features, and user experiences. Together We Can, developed from earlier CBCT-based research, integrates cognitive, behavioral, and emotional components and is available on iOS(iPhone Operating System) and Android platforms. Method: Five couples used Together We Can for eight weeks during structured CBCT counseling sessions. Counseling sessions were recorded, and in-depth interviews were conducted during and after the intervention. Qualitative analysis was performed to examine participants’ experiences with the tool and its role in the counseling process. Results: The findings indicated that the digital tool positively influenced the counseling process and outcomes. Participants reported intentions to continue using the tool and to recommend it to others, while also suggesting improvements related to functionality and design. Conclusions: This study highlights the development and practical application of a CBCT-based digital treatment tool in clinical settings. The findings provide foundational evidence for expanding the use of digital tools in couple and family therapy and support their broader integration into real-world counseling practice.
