현대시의 지귀설화 수용양상 연구 = The poetic transformation in Jigui narrative

This study lays its purpose on studying adoption and transformation of Jigui narrative literature turned up in modern poetry. Narrative means a story that is handed down orally in the nation``s culture area or in the specific language group. That is composed of myth, legend and folk-tale. It is an invaluable material which could search the way of thinking in a group or the matrix of popular culture of common people. In addition, narrative is regarded as a literature, especially the matrix of a poem. Therefore we have to disclose how narrative was fused into korean literature, how it was re-born as a new text. We also have to know how important it is to uncover the effect of narrative. This thesis examined and compared poems with Jigui narrative to investigate the aspects of accepting Jigui narrative in korean poems. As a result, 1) The story and the specific person of Jigui narrative were quoted and retold in korean modern poems, 2) They built their inner world or life in reality, and the background of thought in a poem by converting the motive of Jigui narrative, 3) These poets told the characters in narrative paradoxically and therefore they modernized their subjects or even more criticized the realities of life. Parody of literature signifies pioneering a new field with accepting not only a thing of the past but also of the present. This will became the cornerstone for developing modern poetry into expensive world.
