Han confirms that the general trend in Korean-ism is toward a monolithic system and perspective. The monolithic tendency of philosophical metaphysics in the various integrated and convergent worldviews found in Korean culture and ideas is called ‘Han philosophy’. Therefore it was provided as a concept of various phenomena in Korean culture and the ideological characteristics behind it. The main meaning may be that various phenomena and facts scattered through verbal division eventually lead to one, that is, the perception of difference or the understanding of homogeneity.
The source existence may be said to be monolithic, but epistemologically, it is always dualized. This is because perception always follows the relative principle of master and guest. In this case, dialectically, the state of the opponent is said to be directed toward the final positive, anti, and unity(these, anti-these, syn-these) through the process of resolving contradictory conflicts. However, the reality of negative dialectics is bound to be concluded in such a way that one gives in to the other. It is only opposed and cannot be integrated. In the end, the negative dialectic has its limitations in the value of integrating reality. Therefore, rather, we must find the clue from the positive dialectic. It means that we should follow the affirmative method of Taegeuk monolithic, which embraces the other, not the negative method of the yin-yang dualism of division.
The way of recognizing difference as an enemy, ‘Han’ is wary of this. Perhaps the difference is a Taegeuk state in a higher dimension created by the combination of yin and yang. In this way, ‘Han philosophy’ is understood as a philosophy of the possibility into a culture of tolerance and inclusion.
