상업계 고등학교 컴퓨터 교육의 실태와 개선방안에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

오늘날의 사회는 컴퓨터와 정보통신기술의 눈부신 발전으로 인하여 고도의 정보화 사회로 전환되고 있다. 이러한 정보화 사회에서 정보를 획득하고 평가하는 능력, 정보를 조직하고 관리하는 능력, 정보를 해석하고 유통시키는 능력, 정보처리를 위한 컴퓨터의 사용 능력 등이 개인의 생활이나 사회생활에 필수적인 요소가 될 것으로 예측되고 있다.
더욱이 정보화 사회에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있는 유능한 전문 인력을 양성하는 것이 목표인 상업계 고등학교 컴퓨터 교육과정은 정보통신과 정보화에 대한 기본적 소양 및 정보 윤리 교육은 물론 컴퓨터를 포함한 각종 첨단 정보통신기술 및 기기의 응용에 관한 교육을 강화함으로써 정보통신 기술을 활용한 문제해결 능력 및 의사소통 능력을 신장시킬 수 있는 유용한 교육내용이 계열성과 연계성을 갖도록 체계적으로 조직되어야 할 것이며, 급변하는 시대변화에 탄력적으로 운영될 수 있어야 할 것이다.
본 연구에서는 정보화 사회에서의 현장욕구에 부응하는 상업계 고등학교 컴퓨터 교육의 개선방안을 모색하기 위해 컴퓨터 교육의 필요성 및 우리 나라 컴퓨터 교육의 변천과정, 최근 컴퓨터 교육의 동향 및 외국의 컴퓨터 교육 현황을 살펴보았고, 상업계 고등학교 컴퓨터 교육의 목표와 현행 컴퓨터 교육과정의 문제점 및 컴퓨터 교과목별 목표와 내용을 분석하였다.
실증적 연구를 위하여 광주광역시 소재 상업계 고등학교 컴퓨터 교육을 담당하는 교사와 학생을 대상으로 한 설문지 조사를 실시하여 문제점을 분석하고 상업계 고등학교 컴퓨터 교육과정의 개선방안을 다음과 같이 제시하였다.
첫째, 정보화 사회의 급속한 변화에 대응할 수 있는 탄력적 교육과정, 문제해결에 컴퓨터를 활용하는 정보 능력적 교육과정이 되어야 할 것이다.
둘째, 급변하는 정보화 시대에 부응하는 교육내용의 계열성과 연계성 확립을 위한 학교 교육과정이 선정되어야 할 것이다.
셋째, 컴퓨터 및 정보통신기술 발달에 뒤쳐지지 않는 적시성과 효용성 있는 내용의 교과서를 개발하여 보급하여야 할 것이다.
넷째, 실무교과는 물론 기초이론 교과목도 실기 위주의 수준별 수업을 해야하며 웹 기반 교육 등 다양하고 적절한 교수·학습 방법이 개발·적용되어야 할 것이다.
다섯째, 학습자들의 정보통신 기술을 활용하여 문제를 해결하는 능력을 기를 수 있도록 수행평가 및 과제평가를 확대하여야 할 것이다.
여섯째, 컴퓨터 교육 담당 교사들이 학습지도에 전념할 수 있도록 교사의 업무 부담을 줄여야 할 것이며 최신 컴퓨터 및 정보통신 기술과 관련된 내용의 연수, 산학 협동의 실무연수 등을 체계적이고 지속적으로 실시할 수 있는 연수제도를 확립하여 실무능력 향상을 위한 컴퓨터 교육과정을 성공적으로 수행할 수 있게 하여야 할 것이다.

<Abstract>

Nowadays, our information society is rapidity of computer and mobile communication technology development enabled us to link the whole world with computer network and the importance of computer education which can produce better adaptational competence to the information society has been prolonged.
The curriculum of commercial high school which are aimed at the development of the adaptational competence of the students to the information society must be changed into those which are better organized and more flexible to enhance the students problem solving competence.
This research has reviewed the literatures concerning the necessity of computer education the desirable aim of computer education on commercial high school the recent tendency of computer education and the history of our computer education and the recent tendency of information society with this review data this research has analyzed the content and problems of curriculum.
It includes the analysis of the organization of the computer education programs of the commercial high schools in Kwang.Ju.
The main conclusions and suggestions are the following:
First, computer education must be moved into informational education. The curriculum has to include the informational use of computer to utilize computer in problem solving.
Second, the curriculum must be supplemented for the adaptational one for practice.
Third, the transformation from the textbook of official approval to the one of admission must be achieved to develop a textbook with contents of efficacy to catch up with the development of computer and information technology.
Fourth, it is required to make the characteristics of subjects more distinctive by eliminating the repetitions the computer and making web.sites must be selective with the variety differentiated curriculum with course selection.
Fifth, various methods of learning and teaching have to be developed. performance test and researches must be extended to include the group test as well as individual test.
Sixth, specialists in charge of the computing to help them concentrate on teaching. retraining programs that instruct teachers systematically and continuously in the latest computer and information technology also be established to improve the efficiency of teaching and to succeed in practicing the computer curriculum.
