보육교사 민감성과 영아 정서조절능력의 관계: 보육교사 공감능력의 매개효과를 중심으로 = Relationship between Sensitivity of Nursery Teachers and Capability of Infants for Emotional Control: Intermediary Effect of Nursery Teacher Empathy

This study aims to examine the mediating effect of teacher empathy in the relationship between nursery teacher sensitivity and emotional control among infants. Accordingly, a total of 210 questionnaires were distributed to teachers in charge of infants in the child care. Only 201 questionnaires were used for the analysis . The results are as follows. First, the relationship between teacher sensitivity, empathy, and infant emotional control indicated a significant correlation. Second, the relationship between teacher sensitivity, empathy, and infant emotion control exhibited a significant impact on each other. Third, teacher sensitivity exerted a partial mediating effect in the relationship between teacher sensitivity and infant emotional control. These findings suggest that teacher sensitivity exerts a positive effect on emotional control for infants and their teachers. Lastly, this effect suggests that empathy can be controlled as a mediating factor.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 보육교사 민감성이 영아 정서조절능력 간의 관계에서 교사 공감능력이 매개효과를 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 D시, S시, J시 소재 어린이집에 재직중인 담임 보육교사를 대상으로 총 210부의 설문지를 배부하여 그 중 201부를 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구결과는 첫째, 보육교사 민감성과 공감능력, 영아 정서조절능력의 관계는 유의한 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사 민감성과 공감능력, 영아 정서조절능력 각각의 하위요인들 간의 관계는 서로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 보육교사 민감성과 영아 정서조절능력 관계에서 보육교사 민감성이 부분 매개효과가 있다. 이러한 연구 결과는 영아와 영아반 교사를 대상으로 보육교사 민감성이 영아 정서조절능력에 긍정적인 영향을 주며 이러한 효과는 공감능력이 매개요인으로 조절될 수 있음을 제시했다는 의의가 있다
