여대생들의 두피ㆍ모발에 대한 인식 및 모발 관리 형태 = Awareness and Management concerning the Scalp & Hair Care in some Female College Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study analyzed female university students’ perception regarding their hair and the habits and methods of hair treatment to evaluate their interest in hair treatment. Most of the female university students showed very high interest in their scalp and hair. More than 90 percent of the respondents gave a clear answer about their scalp type, and the greatest number of respondents replied that they choose shampoo based on their scalp type. The next greatest number of respondents replied that they choose shampoo based on its fragrance. Also, most of the female university students replied that they blow dry their hair after shampooing. However, 63.6 percent of the students answered that their hair and scalp were stimulated and damaged by heating devices. It also turned out that female university students do not receive scalp treatment services but receive hair treatment services or purchase hair treatment products to treat their own hair.
