Comparing Land Reform between Colombia and South Korea

The land reform which became spread after World War II, with an aim to overcome social, economic and political issues in different countries reflects the requirement of good implementation of Land Reform. Land reform itself has significance in terms of the improvement of productivity, leading to increased household income. In recalling historical processes, land reform is not a reform program restricted to increase income, land reform has a ripple effect on social and political aspects as important as economical aspects.
The purpose of this thesis is to make a comparative analysis about the land reform in Colombia and South Korea identifying factors which allowed South Korea to have a complete land reform comparing to Colombia. It is well known that trying to implement the same strategy or land reform is not the best option because the context and development are different.
