Building Energy Management System(BEMS) can be summarized as two requirements: installation cost reduction and effective function. However, there is no systematic analysis of the effects of BEMS in Korea and abroad. In particular, it is uncommon to see the savings on various energy consumption factors and analysis results based on long-term measurement data. In this study, the energy saving effects were summarized, analyzed from the energy consumption information obtained from the application and operation of BEMS. The testing site was composed of 25 buildings of located in Ilsan complex of Korea Institute of Civil engineering and building Technology(KICT). The test period was five years from 2013 to 2017. We applied various energy saving techniques through analysis of energy consumption and consumption rate by buildings and usage. As a result, over 23% of electric power could be saved in this site. However, the effect obtained through this study was obtained through the analysis and the reduction technique introduced by the effort of research team, so it was considered that the development of the algorithm and software in order to get satisfactory effects applied to the building site was urgent.
