청소년의 자기효능감과 지역요인과의 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년의 심리체계인 자기효능감과 거주지역 환경과의 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 자기효능감에 대한 연구들이 그동안 다루지 못했던 거시체계의 영향력에 주목하고 이를 경험적 방법으로 접근했다는 점에서 기존연구와 차별성을 갖는다. 한국청소년패널 4차년도(고2) 자료와 2차 행정자료를 이용하여 다층모형분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 청소년의 자아개념은 지역에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 지역 간 편차를 일으키는 구체적인 요인으로는 성별, 소득, 학업성취와 같은 개인 배경변수와 부모애착, 친구애착과 같은 관계변수로 확인되었다. 이어 지역요인의 영향력을 검토한 결과 지역의 사회경제적 지위를 대표하는 저소득 한부모비율은 별다른 영향력을 나타내지 않았으나 범죄율은 자기효능감과 부(-)적인 관계를 나타내었다. 인지적 지역요인으로 비공식적 유대와 무질서 변수를 투입한 결과 비공식적 유대가 높을수록, 무질서정도가 낮을수록 자기효능감은 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 함의와 제한점을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to identify the relationship between adolescents" self-efficacy and area factors in empirical aspect. While the importance of personal and family factors on self-efficacy has been emphasized until now, attempts to conduct a positive study on the influence of macro system has been rare and creative.
This study utilized the data from Korea Youth Panel Study and some secondary data and analyzed multilevel analysis model. Major findings are as follows. Adolescents" efficacy was affected by individual background variables and interrelational variables such as parents attachment and friends attachment. Further study on area factors variables showed no effect on dependent variable with the ratio of single parent, while negative with crime rate. The perceived area factors were closely related with dependent variable. As informal community bonding rises and community disorder falls, self-efficacy was shown to increase. Based on these results, this study discussed the implication and limitation.
