국문 초록 (Abstract)

[연구목적] 본 연구는 질적 고도화기에 들어선 2010년대 이후 한국의 비교교육학 연구의 동향을 분석하고 이를 통해 한국이라는 맥락 속 비교교육학 연구의 특성을 파악하는데 목적을 둔다.
[연구방법] 이를 위해 한국의 대표적인 비교교육학 연구 학술지인 「비교교육연구」에 투고된 논문 가운데 질적 고도화기라고 볼 수 있는 2010년도에서 2022년도까지 게재된 논문을 Bray&Thomas(1995)의 분석틀을 중심으로 지리적/지역수준, 비지역적 인구통계집단, 교육 및 사회측면 특성을 분석하였다.
[연구결과] 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체계적 측면에서 영문호가 증호되고 그 체계가 잡혀가는 2010년 이후 비교교육연구의 체계성이 점진적으로 확보되어 왔음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 학술적 측면에서 한국 비교교육 연구의 다양성이 2010년 이전에 비해 상대적으로 늘어났음을 알 수 있었다. 연구방법에서 문헌연구 방법을 적용한 연구가 대폭 증가했으며, 지리적/지역수준 측면에서 선진국에 대한 관심이 유지되는 동시에 관심 대상 국가들의 확장을 확인할 수 있었다. 교육 및 사회 측면에서 교육행정학적 전통이 유지되는 가운데 다른 교육학 영역의 참여가 확장되었으며, 인구통계집단 측면에서는 고등교육 및 교원집단에 관한 관심이 높은 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
[결론] 2010년 이후 한국 비교교육학 연구는 점진적으로 체계화 되어가고 있으며, 다양한 주제와 대상 국가들의 다양성 등 점차적으로 학술적 측면에서도 학문영역 간 토대를 마련하고 있다고 볼 수 있을 것이다. 비교교육학의 연구가 지향하는 중요한 가치 중 하나가 다면성과 총체성이라는 점에서 한국 비교교육학 내의 다양성 확보(예, 다양한 기관의 연구자, 국내·외 공동연구 등)와 더불어 학술공동체인 학회의 국내·외 네트워킹 활성화도 필요할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

[Purpose]This article aims to analyze the trend of comparative education research in South Korea since the 2010s, when it entered a period of qualitative sophistication. With the purpose we tried to grasp the characteristics of comparative education research in the context of South Korea.
[Methods]For this purpose, we analyzed 581 papers published from 2010 to 2022 by Korean Journal of Comparative Education which is one of the most representative comparative education research journal in South Korea with Bray&Thoams(1995) analysis frame.
[Results]First, the systematic aspect of comparative education research has been gradually secured since 2010 as the number of English issues was increased. Second, from the academic aspect, it was found that the diversity of Korean comparative education research has relatively increased compared to before 2010. There was a significant increase in the number of studies applying literature research methods. At the geographic/locational levels, interest in developed countries was maintained, while interest in developing countries also expaneded. In aspects of education and of society, it was expanded while maintaining the tradition of educational administration. In terms of nonlocational demograhpic groups, it showed that there was a high level of interest in higher education and teacher groups.
[Conclusion]The research trend since 2010 showed a shift of viewpoints in relation to the changes in the position of South Korea in the international community. For the qualitative growth of Korean comparative education research, it is necessary to make effort to secure diversity.
