성인의 사회적 자본 유형별 추이 분석과 교육적 함의 = The change of Korean adults' social capital profiles and educational implications

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 국내 경제사회 및 정치 환경 변화에 따른 한국인의 사회적 자본 유형별 변화양상을 알아봄으로써 성인학습자에 있어서 환경변 화에 따른 교육정책 망향을 모색하고자 하였다 본 연구에서는 성인의 사회적 자본 유형별 추이를 알아보기 위하여 조사 대상을 7가지 유형(권위 적시민형， 자기만족형 ， 보수적 만족형， 적극적 사회참여형， 도시소외형， 사회불만불신형， 고립침묵형) 으로 나누고 유형별 프로파일 을 분석함으로써 각 집단의 속성을 구체 화하였다. 분석 결과， 보수적 만족형 과 적극적 사회참여 형이 사회적 자본 측면에서는 가장 긍정적인 집단이었다. 한편 때4년에 비해서 2C뼈년 조사에서는 사회 불만불신형， 권위적 시민형이 감소하고 자기만족형과 보수적만족형이 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 사회전반의 불만과 불안요소가 감소하고 만족하는 계층이 증가했다는 점에서 고무적인 현상으로 볼 수 있다 그러나 도시빈민층이라 할 수 있는 도시소외형과 사회적으로 분리된 계층인 고립침묵형 이 증가하고 시민사회에 중요한 정치 ·사회 적 참여를 주도하는 적 극적 사회 참여형이 감소한 것으로 나타나 사회통합 및 사회참여를 위한 교육정책이 더욱 강화되어야함을 시사하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was to explore the directions of Korean education policy by analysing the change of Korean adults' social capital profiles. The data was collected twice during August 2004 and August 2000, around one and a half year after the initiation of Roh Moo-Hyun and Lee Myung-Bak Government. Through the data from the two periods, it is possible to compare the citizens' recognition of social capital according to the changes in the economic, social and political environment. In order to look at the specific changes in the social capital, the study classifies the respondents into 7 types (Authoritative Citizens, Self-Satisfied, Conservative Satisfied, Active Participatory Citizens, Socially Disen franchised, Socially Discontented, Isolated Silent Citizens) and analyzes each type to specify characteristic of each group. The result of the analysis shows that Conservative
Satisfied and Active Participatory are most positive group with the respect to social capital. Meanwhile, the study also finds that compared to 2004, the proportion of Socially Discontented and Authoritative Citizens decrease while the proportion of Self-Satisfied and Conservative Satisfied increase. This indicates the decrease of overall dissatisfaction in the society. However, the increase of Socially Disenfranchised and Isolated Silent Citizens, as well as the decrease of Active Participatory Citizens indicates the need for a education policy to promote social integration and social participation.
