대학생 자아정체감과 무망감, 우울이 자살사고의 관계에 관한 연구 = A pathmodel for self-identity and hopelessness to suicidal ideation of college students.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates the level of self-identity and hopelessness of college students and how these two factors impact on their suicidal ideation through depression. For the purpose of the study, the survey was conducted and 423 college students at 4 universities in Daegu and Kyungpook province participated. The collected data was analyzed by using SPSS Win 12.
The result of the study indicated sex of students showed statistically significant differences in the level of self-identity, depression, and suicidal ideation, while, the experience of loved one's death recently showed statistically significant differences in the level of hopelessness and depression. Next, the level of self-identity and hopelessness were statistically significant variables in explaining the level of depression and suicidal ideation. In addition, self-identity and hopelessness of college students were statistically significant variables in explaining suicidal ideation directly and indirectly through depression. Finally, based on the findings of the study, implications for the intervention of the adolescents' suicidal ideation and recommendations of further study were provided.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생이 인지하는 자아정체감과 무망감을 파악하고, 이 두 변인이 우울을 매개로 자살사고에 미치는 직·간접적 영향을 규명하기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위해, 대구 경북 지역에 위치한 4개 대학의 대학생 423명을 대상으로 사회 인구학적 특성, 자아정체감, 무망감, 우울, 자살사고를 포함하는 설문지를 통한 양적 연구를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 조사대상자의 성별에 따라 자아정체감과 우울, 자살사고에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 최근 가까운 이의 죽음유무에 따라 무망감과 우울에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 대학생이 인지하는 자아정체감과 무망감이 우울과 자살사고에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 이 두 변인이 자살사고에 이르는 경로를 분석한 결과, 자살사고에 미치는 직접적 효과가 우울을 통한 간접적 효과보다 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 기초로 대학생의 자살사고에 관한 실천적 함의와 후속연구에 관한 방안을 제시하였다.
