국문 초록 (Abstract)

따뜻함과 안전의 초기기억이 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움에 미치는 영향: 내면화된 수치심과 인지적 유연성의 매개효과
본 연구는 따뜻함과 안전의 초기기억이 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움에 미치 는 영향을 살펴보고, 그 과정에서 내면화된 수치심과 인지적 유연성의 매개효 과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 전국에 거주하는 만 19세에 서 34세 사이의 청년 300명을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문조사를 실시하였다. 측정도구로는 따뜻함과 안전의 초기기억 척도(EMWSS), 내면화된 수치심 척 도(ISS), 인지적 유연성 척도(CFI), 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움 척도(BFNE) 를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS와 PROCESS macro를 활용하여 기술통 계, 상관분석 및 매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 따뜻함과 안전의 초기기억은 부 정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 유의한 부적 상관을 보였으며, 내면화된 수치심 및 인지적 유연성과도 각각 유의한 관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 따뜻함과 안전의 초기기억이 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 유의한 직접효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 따뜻함과 안전의 초기기억이 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움에 미치는 영향을 내면화된 수치심이 부분적으로 매개하는 효과가 나타 났다. 넷째, 따뜻함과 안전의 초기기억이 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움에 미치는 영향을 인지적 유연성이 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 따뜻함과 안 전의 초기기억이 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움에 미치는 영향을 내면화된 수치 심과 인지적 유연성이 순차적으로 매개하는 효과가 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움을 이해하는 데 있어 정서적 및 인지적 기제를 통 합적으로 고려할 필요성을 시사한다.

The Effect of Early Memories of Warmth and
Safeness on Fear of Negative Evaluation:
The Mediating Effects of Internalized Shame
and Cognitive Flexibility

This study aimed to examine the effect of early memories of warmth
and safeness on fear of negative evaluation and to investigate the
mediating roles of internalized shame and cognitive flexibility in this
relationship. A self-report survey was conducted with 300 young
adults aged between 19 and 34 years, and the data were analyzed
using SPSS and the PROCESS macro to perform descriptive statistics,
correlation analyses, and mediation analyses.
The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, early
memories of warmth and safeness showed a significant negative
correlation with fear of negative evaluation and were also significantly
related to internalized shame and cognitive flexibility. Second, early
memories of warmth and safeness had a significant direct effect on
fear of negative evaluation. Third, internalized shame partially
mediated the relationship between early memories of warmth and
safeness and fear of negative evaluation. Fourth, cognitive flexibility
fully mediated this relationship. Fifth, internalized shame and cognitive
flexibility sequentially mediated the relationship between early
memories of warmth and safeness and fear of negative evaluation.
These findings suggest that emotional and cognitive mechanisms
should be considered in an integrated manner when understanding
fear of negative evaluation.
