The Diamond Sutra jiangjingwen is a jiangjingwen written in the form of a lecture on The Diamond Sutra, which was used in Buddhist rituals. The Donhuang Literatures are scroll manuscripts excavated in the Dunhuang region, and these texts are sometimes referred to as ‘Dunhuang Literature’ due to their regional characteristics, and The Diamond Sutra jiangjingwen can be categorized as a Jiangjingwen among the JIangchang Literature. In this article, I will examine The Diamond Sutra from a Buddhist literary perspective, considering it to be a Sutra that expounded The Diamond Sutra, even though it is an Dunhuang text. Based on the commentary on The Diamond Sutra Theory, by Wuzhuo, we will examine the content of the first part of the text, which is not currently available. In addition, I will examine the content features of the commentary in terms of Buddhist doctrine and thought, and discuss the literary function of the commentary in prose and verse. Through this process, we will also identify chang that have not been revealed.
