The purpose of this study was to develop the environmental education program for young children linked to the visual art representation and to analyze the effects of the program on children`s environmental belief and attitude, language ability, and drawing representation ability. The environmental education program for young children linked to the visual art representation maintains objective, education contents, teaching-learning method, and evaluation continuum. Its education contents also are developed by considering four areas such as pollution prevention, resources conservation, nature affinity, and animal and plant concern/protection. To prove the effects of the program, experimental group and comparative are assigned through random sampling. ``The Environmental Belief and Attitude Scale for Young Children``, K-WPPSI`, and ``The Drawing Representation Inventory`` were used in collection of data. A t-test was used to analyze the data. The results revealed that significant differences between the post-test scores of the experimental and comparative group. The scores of experimental group were significantly higher on children`s environmental belief and attitude, language ability and drawing representation ability than the scores of the comparative group. In conclusion, the environmental education program for young children linked to the visual art representation, which was developed in this study, is effective in promoting young children`s environmental belief and attitude, language ability, and drawing representation ability.
