지역정보통신센타를 이용한 지역정보화 활성화 방안 : 원주지역을 중심으로

The practical use of regional information and communication center is very important to solve the problem of unbalanced developments among regional sections of country in information-intensive society. Regional informationization is considered as the preferentially prime subject and the need for establishment of regional information and communication center as a central proceeding facility is gradually increased.
In this paper, we study the utilization methods of regional information and communication center to promote the informationization in south-west of Kangwon-Do focusing Wonju area.
First, the functions and roles of regional information and communication center in the information age were defined. Second, we presented a construction method for information and communication network which is suitable for regional characteristics to communicate information among other areas by using the regional information and communication center.
Lastly, some methods to promote information-intensive society were showed to settle down regional informationization of Wonju area as soon as possible.
