심리운동이 지역아동센터 이용 아동의 자아존중감에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Psychomotor Program on the Self-Esteem of Children from Community Child Center

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of psychomotor program on the self-esteem of children from community child center. The study subjects were 8 children in elementary school who were attending C Community Child Center in Seoul. The study was performed 24 sessions with 1 times a week and 60 minutes for each session. To verify the effects of psychomotor program pre- and post-test scores of self-esteem were analysed by the Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test. Observation records for behavioral characteristics related to self-esteem in each session were used for qualitative analysis. The results were as follows: First, There were statistically significant differences on pre- and post-scores of self-esteem. Second, there were meaningful positive changes in behaviors related to self-esteem such as positivity, challenge attitude, self-expression, resistance and aggression. The results of this study imply that psychomotor program had a positive effect on the self-esteem of children from the community child center.
