감정적 유대를 구축하는 문화의 형성을 위하여 = A Theoretical Basis for Building a Culture Founded on Strong Emotional Ties : Centering around the Concept of Identification

국문 초록 (Abstract)

프로이트는 「왜 전쟁에 반대하는가」라는 글에서 전쟁을 방지하는 가장 강력한 무기는 ‘감정적 유대’, 즉 ‘동일시’라고 주장했다. 이 논문은 오이디푸스 콤플렉스, 남근, 거세를 중심으로 구축되어 온 정신분석학의 공리를 프로이트의 동일시 개념을 중심으로 재편하여 더욱 실천적인 이론적 활용을 모색하기 위해 구상되었다. 이 과정에서 프로이트의 동일시 이론과, 이에 대해 세분화된 설명을 제시하는 라캉의 동일시 세미나를 살펴보고 이를 현상분석에 접목시키고자 한다. 또한 정신분석학이 강조해 온 언어분석이 어떻게 동일시 이론과 접목될 수 있는가에 대해서도 명시하고자 한다. 논문의 궁극적 목표는 동일시 이론을 중심으로 재구성된 정신분석학이 현상분석의 실천적인 이론적 도구로 기능할 수 있다는 점을 제시하는 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

According to Freud, the strongest weapon in the fight against war is the emotional tie between members who share the same structure of feelings. Freud has referred to this tie as ‘identification’. This paper revisits this theoretical prospect of psychoanalysis, centering around the concept of identification. This is an attempt to shift the theoretical focus from such concepts as the Oedipus complex, the phallus and castration, to that of emotional ties and identification. For this reason, the paper introduces Freud’s “Why War”, in which he mentions the term, ‘identification’, in relation to war and the death drive, and then moves on to examine Lacan’s 9th seminar of identification in which he further examines the concept. Finally, this is applied to analysis of the emotional ties which have grown among us in recent years. The ultimate purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the practical potential of psychoanalytic theories, particularly with the notion of identification as the basis of the strong emotional tie in the formation of a more therapeutic culture.
