The purpose of this study were to verified for validity of Sargent`s model which deal with many variance in a research of social development of young children. According to the Sargent`s social model, social development of children be consisted of inputs, processes and products contexts. Inputs mean cultural determinants affecting to social development of children. Processed are the emotional temperaments, social skills, social cognition and products are positive social results of children. To meet the above purpose, two questions were set up as follows : Ⅰ. Are there differences in the emotional temperament, social skill, social cognition of young children according to the family interaction? Ⅱ. Are there differences in the family interaction and the emotional temperament, social skill, social cognition of young children according to the social development of young children? The main results were as follows : First, there were significant differences in context of processes according to inputs, namely the family interaction. Second, there were significant differences in context of products according to inputs and processes.
