사회통합프로그램 한국어 학습자 교육 과정 만족도 조사 연구: K대학 영어 과정 유학생을 중심으로 = A Study on the Satisfaction of Learners in the Korea Immigration and Integration Program(KIIP) -Focused on English Track International Students at K University-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

불과 몇 년 전만 해도 외국인 유학생들이 졸업 후 취업 비자를 발급받아 한국 내에 정착하는 비율은 매우 제한적이었다. 그러나 최근 대한민국 정부는 한국에 체류하고 있는 유학생들에게 한국 내에서 직업을 구할 수 있도록 다양한 제도를 마련하였고 이를 적극 시행하고 있다.
각 대학에서는 이러한 수요에 대비해서 외국인 유학생들을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 시행하면서 이들의 정착을 도와주고 있다. 이 중에서 가장 대표적인 프로그램이 법무부에서 시행하는 사회통합프로그램(KIIP)을 대학 내에서도 운영하는 것이다. K대학에서도 이러한 흐름에 발맞추어 법무부로부터 지역학습관 지정을 받고 사회통합프로그램(KIIP) 한국어 과정을 운영하고 있는데 프로그램 운영 과정이 매우 복잡하고 지역학습관 운영 경험이 짧아서 학생 관리, 교사 관리, 교육 시설 관리 등에서 효율성이 떨어지고 있다. K대학에서는 사회통합프로그램(KIIP) 한국어 교육 과정을 보다 효율적으로 운영하기 위하여 수강생을 대상으로 교육 과정 전반에 걸친 만족도를 조사하였다. 그리고 이 조사 결과를 분석하고 ‘수업 동기’, ‘수업 내용 및 구성’, ‘한국어 교사’, ‘교육과정 운영과 관리’, ‘수업에 대한 제안’으로 세분하여 그 개선점을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Until just a few years ago, the proportion of international students who obtained work visas and settled in Korea after graduation was very limited. However, the Korean government has recently implemented various policies to help international students residing in Korea find employment within the country, and is actively promoting these initiatives.
In response, universities have begun offering various programs to support the settlement of international students. One of the most representative programs is the operation of the Korea Immigration and Integration Program(KIIP), implemented by the Ministry of Justice within each university. K University, aligning with this trend, was designated as a regional learning center by the Ministry of Justice and has been operating the Korean language courses of the Korea Immigration and Integration Program(KIIP).
However, due to the complex nature of the program and the university’s limited experience in managing a regional learning center, there have been inefficiencies in areas such as student management, teacher supervision, and educational facilities. To improve the effectiveness of the Korean language courses within the KIIP, K University conducted a satisfaction survey among the students enrolled in the program.
The results of this survey were analyzed and categorized into five areas: ‘learning motivation,’ ‘course content and structure,’ ‘Korean language instructors,’ ‘program operation and management,’ and ‘suggestions for improvement.’ Based on this analysis, the study presents recommendations for enhancing the program.
