생성형 AI 콘텐츠 수용과 역설계 관점의 SNS 중독 경로: 입시와 은퇴세대의 YouTube이용경험을 중심으로 = A Study on Generative AI Content Adoption and SNS Addiction Pathways Based on a Reverse Engineering Perspective: Based on the Experience of the Entrance Examination and the Retirement Generation Using YouTube

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 입시와 은퇴의 특정 생애주기를 대상으로 알고리즘이 유발하는 확증편향과 SNS 중독에 대하여 사회적 소외감을 외생변수로 한 중독 경로를 역설계하고 실증하였다. 분석 결과, 사회적 소외감은 부정정서와 두려움 및 불안을 유발하는 강력한 선행요인이었다. 이로 인한 심리적 요인은 생성형 AI 콘텐츠 인지와 확증편향을 심화시켰으며, 최종 중독 경로에서는 '만족'보다 매체에 강력하게 동화되는 '몰입'이 중독을 견인함이 증명되었다. 세대별 비교에서는 시니어 세대는 사회적 소외감에서 중독에 이르는 구조적 경로가 뚜렷하게 확인되었고, 디지털 네이티브인 청소년은 다른 심리적 기제를 보여 유의미한 경로가 발견되지 않았다. AI 시대 SNS 중독 완화를 위한 실천적 대안으로서, 본 연구는 알고리즘 유통을 제어하는 기술적 거버넌스 구축 및 세대별 맞춤형 디지털 복지와 비판적 리터러시 교육 체계 수립을 위한 기초 자료를 제공한다는 점에서 정책적 실무적 함의를 지닌다.

This study reversely designed and demonstrated the addiction path using social isolation as an exogenous variable for algorithm-induced confirmation bias and SNS addiction for specific cultural generations of entrance exams and retirement. The analysis revealed that social isolation was a powerful antecedent that triggered negative emotions, fear, and anxiety. These psychological factors intensified the perception of generative AI content and deepened confirmation bias. In the final addiction pathway, “flow,” characterized by strong identification with the medium, was proven to drive addiction more than “satisfaction.” Generational comparisons showed that for the senior generation, the structural pathway from social Isolation to addiction was clearly evident, whereas digital-native adolescents exhibited different psychological mechanisms, with no significant pathway identified. As a practical alternative to mitigate SNS addiction in the AI era, this study provides foundational insights for establishing technological governance to regulate algorithmic distribution, as well as for building generation-specific digital welfare systems and critical literacy education frameworks, thereby offering both policy and practical implications.
