2×2 성취목표 동기유형이 태권도 수련생들의 기본 심리적 욕구와 신체활동 의도에 미치는 효과 = The Effects of Achievement Goal Orientation on Basic Psychological Needs and Physical Activity Intention in Elementary School Students for Taekwondo Participants

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인간의 동기적 특성은 다양한 역동성을 내포하고 있으며, 이러한 다차원적인 동기의 심리적 특성을 유용하게 설명할 수 있는 대표적인 이론이 성취목표이론과 자기결정이론이다. 이 두 이론을 바탕으로 이 연구에서는 최근 제안된 2×2 성취목표 구조에 근거한 성취목표 동기유형이 지속적인 태권도 수련활동에 참여하고 있는 초등학생들의 기본 심리적 욕구와 신체활동 의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 조사하였다. 이를 위해 지속적으로 신체활동에 참여하고 있는 초등학생 378명을 대상으로 성취목표 동기유형, 기본 심리적 욕구와 신체활동 의도를 조사한 뒤 상관관계, 다중회귀분석 및 경로분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 2×2 성취목표 구조 중 숙달 접근은 기본 심리적 욕구인 관계성, 자율성, 유능성에 가장 큰 영향력을 행사하는 동기유형으로 확인되었다. 또한 신체활동 의도에도 긍정적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 드러났다. 특히, 경로분석에서도 숙달접근은 관계 성과 자율성에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이는 숙달접근 동기유형이 신체활동 참가자들의 기본 심리적 욕구를 증대하는데 큰 역할을 할 뿐만 아니라, 향후 지속적인 신체활동 참가에도 기여할 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 이 연구 결과는 성취목표이론과 자기결정이론 간의 이해를 도모하고, 동기의 다차원적인 접근에서 신체활동 참가자들의 성취목표 동기유형과 기본 심리적 욕구 및 신체활동 의도를 예측하고 파악하는데 유용한 정보를 제공해 줄 것으로 기대된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The motivations have a implication for motivative dynamics, and Achievement Goal Theory (AGT) and Self-Determination Theory (SDT) has been addressed as a specific multiple motivation. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of achievement goal orientation on Basic Psychological Needs (BPN) and Physical Activity Intention (PAI) in elementary school students for Taekwondo participants. For this, self-reported response data using on achievement goal orientation, basic psychological needs and physical activity intention Questionnaire form 378 elementary students for physical activity were analyzed by correlation, multiple regression and path analysis. The results, generally Mastery-Approach is the best predictor of BPN and PAI among the motivation types in elementary school students. The results of this study implied the importance of the view of achievement goal motivation on enhancing BPN and PAI. Therefore, this study suggests that the education of physical and filed will be insight by the various types of motivation for physical activity participants.
