고령화 사회의 노인활동 현황과 활성화 대책 : 청주시 중앙공원 이용노인을 중심으로 Focused on the Older People Utilizing Jungang Park in Chongju City = Current Status and Patronizing Measures of Older People's Activities in Aging Society

Korea has been confronted with rapid population aging, the increase in life expectancy and the increase of older people in the population. Along with these phenomina, most of Korean older people are now beginning to experience role loss and loneliness.
Recently, the interests about older people's activities are beginning to be spread over, but the results of this study show that the activities of older people in Chongju are not activated. This paper suggests the patronizing measures of older people's activities in Chongju as the followings.
First, job types development for the elderly, education training for the elderly, the functional reinforcement of joint workhouse for the elderly, employment recommendation for the elderly, welfare factory for the elderly and the improvement of Elderly Employment Promotion Law are needed as patronizing measures of labor activities.
Second, positive P.R. for older volunteer activities, older volunteer program development and the foundation of older volunteer center are needed as patronizing measures of older volunteer activities.
Third, facilities and places for leisure and sports activities, program improvement and enlargement, the education of useful knowledge and skills, and collective program development are needed as patronizing measures of leisure and sports activities.
Fourth, the improvement and repair of senior center facilities, older volunteer training for senior center program management, the administrative and financial support of senior school, professional personnel training for senior education, the positive P.R. of senior welfare center and transportation measures accessible to leisure facilities for the elderly are needed as patronizing measures of leisure facilities for the elderly.
