대학생의 자아정체감과 진로정체감 비교 연구: 진로태도성숙을 중심으로 = Comparison between self-identity and career-identity on career attitude maturity

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined how self-identity status, career identity status relate to career attitude maturity. A total of 440 college students(male 258, female 182) participated in the study. The participants completed questionnaires of self-identity, career exploration, career exploration and commitment, and career attitude maturity. The results showed the followings. First, all students were categorized into four career identity status as referred to Marcia's theory. second, there were significant distinctions between self-identity status' distribution and career identity status'. third, even though the same status of self-identity and career identity, comparison results showed that there were meaningful differences in career attitude maturity scores. Also, four self-identity and career identity groups have different scores on career attitude maturity variables. In self identity status, college students reported higher career attitude maturity in order-achievement, moratorium, foreclosure, and diffusion. Whereas in career- identity status, they showed higher career attitude maturity in order-achievement, foreclosure, moratorium and diffusion. Limitations of the present study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 진로정체감이 Marcia의 모델과 같이 네 가지 단계로 구분되는가를 확인하고, 자아정체감 단계와 진로정체감 단계를 비교하여 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 연구는 대학생 440명(남학생 258명, 여학생 182명)을 대상으로 하여 자아정체감 척도, 진로탐색행동척도, 진로결정몰입척도, 진로태도성숙 척도로 구성된 설문지를 실시하여 진행되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 진로정체감은 진로탐색행동과 진로결정몰입에 따라 Marcia의 모델처럼 네 가지 단계-성취, 유예, 유실, 혼미-로 분류되었다. 둘째, 대학생의 자아정체감 단계와 진로정체감 단계 분포를 비교한 결과, 자아정체감 단계와 진로정체감 단계는 동일하게 발달하지 않으며 서로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋 째, 같은 발달 단계의 자아정체감과 진로정체감이 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향을 비교한 결과, 자아정체감과 진로정체감에 따른 진로태도성숙에는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자아정체감 단계와 진로정체감 단계에 따라 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났는데, 자아정체감은 성취-유예-유실-혼미의 순으로 높은 진로태도성숙을 보이고 있었으며, 진로정체감은 성취-유실-유예-혼미의 순으로 높은 진로태도성숙을 보이고 있었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점과 후속연구에 대하여 논의하였다.
