산업재해발생의 요인분석 = An Analysis on Factors Affecting Industrial Accidents

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research is aimed at making a policy proposal and making an prospect about the occurrence of industrial accidents by using current circumstances, tendency and cause analysis on the occurrence of industrial accidents. The summaries are as followings.
First, The frequency of the occurrence of industrial accidents has been declining due to the ratio increment of professional, clerical employees among occupations. However, the ratio increment of professional, clerical employees among occupations have leaded to the hike of intensity rate of industrial accidents.
Secondly, the estimated function on the occurrence of industrial accidents shows that the factors such as total working times, average age, average wage are functioned as hike factors to 1 thousand men rate, frequency rate and intensity rate. While the other factors like average employment year, female rate are functioned as lowering factors.
Thirdly, in the future, the accelerated aging society is expected to make the rate of the elderly among the employed higher, which will have turned out to be more industrial accidents.
The industrial accidents to the elderly tend to be severe and the period of medical care tends to be prolonged, which will have increased the amount of medical benefits and temporary disability benefits and will have leaded to the deterioration of finance of IACI. therefore we should make a lot of efforts to decrease the industrial accidents by strengthening the standards on occupational safety and taking the industrial accident prevention activities.
