근대통합교육에 대한 영성교육 논의 = The discussion about Spiritual education to Modern-integral education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper was to reviw the limitation of the modern-integral education based by subject and the possibility of the SMSC development proposed by England`s Education Reform Act 1988. The motive of the subject based integrative education was realism and made more coherence theories-Oakeshott`s practical knowledge and Schatzki`s integrative etc. Even thought this tries, Many questions arose that this view point is proper tool to diverse societies. So, I reviewed these approaches by the comprehensive meaning of life, the changing of subjects meaning, the criteria of virtues, the voices of minor and the psychological realms of person. The SMSC development proposed by England`s Education Reform Act 1988 is different approaches about integration. The SMSC(Spiritual, Moral, Social, Cultural) development`s core is spiritual development. The spiritual development impacts the other developments, suggests a guideline that avoids subject mysticism, how to integrates the life`s values into the subjects. There was many debates about what is spiritual development? what is differences spirituality from religious? is it character education? But the spiritual education is different from the religious education and character education. The discuss of spiritual approaches to integration is not about the subject matter, but the life. So spiritual approaches opened the possibilities of real integration, adult education and teacher education, because these approaches is reality about the life.
