This study aims at analyzing teacher policy studies classified by period or area, and to construct database based on the analyzed results. More specifically, the purposes of this study were to analyze the characteristics of teacher policy studies of each major period or area, to explore the future policy directions of teacher policy studies based on these analyzed results, and to construct database for the teacher policy researchers to utilize the research results.
The number of employed data was 1,088. The data were collected from National assembly, Korean Educational Development Institution, Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation, Korea Research Institute for Vocational Development, Korean Federation of Teachers' Association, university affiliated research institutions, and related academic societies.
The results were divided into analyzed area and method and analyzed results. The analyzed areas consisted of teacher polices in general, teacher secure, teacher otivation, teacher morale, teacher development, teacher enviroteachernment. The method presented analyzing works and procedure. Analyzing works and procedure went through 11 steps, such as making a list of to-be-analyzed data, analysis format development, data analysis, key word development for data utilization, database environment construction, database system and program development.
Analyzed results divided into the research trend analysis and research progress. The research trend analysis comprehensively presented the characteristics of the research trends. The research progress was reported in terms of research area or research period.
