18,9세기 한중 학자의 명물고증(名物考證) -이덕무(李德懋)와 완원(阮元)의 규(葵)에 대한 고증을 중심으로- = A Special Issue : The Study about Lee, Deok-moo(李德懋) and Ruan, yuan(阮元)`s analysis of Chinese characters in the 18,19th century

In his book 『Qengjangguanjenseo(靑莊館全書)』, Lee, Deok-moo(李德懋) made the contributions to the theoretical construction to the science of Chinese characters. And Ruan, yuan(阮元) also made the contributions to the theoretical construction to the science of Chinese characters in his book 『Yanjingshiji(연經室集)』. They analyzed the rules behind character construction, and tried to find out the nature of Chinese characters, the relationship between Chinese characters, the evolutionary laws of Chinese characters, the characteristic of ancient Chinese characters etc. These are the foundation of the science of Chinese characters. So we can say Lee, Deok-moo(李德懋) and Ruan, yuan(阮元) had a certain degree of understanding of character studies. This study tried to examine the various analysis about Lee, Deok-moo(李德懋) and Ruan, yuan(阮元)`s analysis of Chinese characters, for example, analysis of Kui(葵)`s several meanings. Sunflower is the one of several meanings about Kui(葵).
