This study aims to analyze the lexical errors of Chinese Korean learners focusing on the different form-same definition Chinese characters to provide basic data to understand better vocabulary teaching of Chinese speaking Korean learners. To meet the goal, the study analyzed and compared some 240 written works by Chinese students. Formal errors were produced more than meaning-based errors, and developmental errors more than interference errors caused by native tongue. Most interference errors were errors on different form-same definition Chinese characters. Novice learners made more errors on different form-same definition Chinese characters than experienced learners. Novice learners made 33.3% of errors on vocabulary words with different form-same definition Chinese characters and experience learners made 54.2% of errors on vocabulary words with different meaning-different form Chinese characters.
