가족부양자의 장기요양보호서비스 이용 결정요인

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 요보호 노인의 가족 부양자가 장기요양보호서비스 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 정책적 함의를 논의하는 데 목적이 있었다. 장기요양보호부양가족 417명을 분석 표본으로 하여 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인의 연령이 높으면 요양병원보다는 노인요양시설을 이용하는 반면, 가족소득이 높으면 노인요양시설보다는 요양병원을 이용한다. 둘째, 노인의 질병수가 많거나 치매가 있으면, 그리고 부양대체원이 있으면 방문요양보다는 노인요양시설서비스를 이용한다. 셋째, 요양판정등급이 높으면 재가서비스보다는 시설서비스를 이용한다. 넷째, 부양자와 피부양자가 동거하면 시설서비스보다는 재가서비스를 이용한다. 다섯째, 부양자의 교육수준이 높으면 노인요양시설보다는 방문요양을 방문간호보다는 병원보호를 이용한다. 여섯째, 부양자가 아들이면 방문간호보다는 요양병원서비스를 이용한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyse determinants of long term care service use of family caregivers with elderly, and then to discuss the findings. The results are as follows. First, while cargiving family with relatively older elderly use more facility care for the elderly than long term care hospital, cargiving family with higher household income use more long term care hospital than facility care for the elderly. Second, caregiver with more number of diseases or demented elderly, or caregiver with substitute tend to use more long term care hospital than home care service by formal caregiver. Third, caregiver with higher level of care judged by longtermcare tend to use more facility care services(e.g., facility care for the elderly, long term care hospital) than home care service(e.g., home care service by formal caregiver, home nursing service). Fourth, caregiver co-residing with elderly tend to use more home care service than facility care services. Fifth, caregiver with higher level of education tend to use more long term care hospital than home care service by formal caregiver. Sixth, son of the elderly tend to use more long term care hospital than home nursing by certificated nurse.
