국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 생성형 AI를 활용하여 사이키델릭 레트로 스타일의 그래픽 이미지를 프롬프트 설계를 통해 효과적으로 생성하는 방법을 탐구하였다. 사이키델릭 레트로 스타일은 1960~70년대의 강렬한 색채와 착시 효과 등이 특징인 디자인 양식으로, 이를 AI를 통해 구현하는 과정에서 프롬프트 설계가 이미지 생성 결과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구는 스타일 분석, 프롬프트 핵심어 선정, 프롬프트 실험 및 이미지 생성, 결과 분석의 4단계로 진행되었다. 실험 결과, 프롬프트의 구체성과 표현 방식이 생성된 이미지의 스타일 완성도에 영향을 미친다는 점을 확인하였다. 그러나 연구 과정에서 디자이너가 의도한 이미지 생성의 한계, AI의 무작위성으로 인한 일관성 부족 등의 문제점도 발견되었다. 본 연구는 생성형 AI를 활용한 그래픽 디자인의 새로운 가능성을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 향후 다양한 디자인 스타일로의 확장 연구와 함께, AI와 디자이너의 효과적인 협업 모델 개발을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 이는 단순한 기술 활용을 넘어, AI 시대의 새로운 디자인 방법론을 정립하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

This study explores effective methods for generating psychedelic retro-style graphic images using generative AI through prompt design. The psychedelic retro style is a design aesthetic characterized by vivid colors and optical illusions, popular in the 1960s and 1970s. This study analyzes how prompt design influences image generation outcomes when implementing this style through AI.
The research was conducted in four stages: style analysis, selection of key prompt terms, prompt experimentation and image generation, and result analysis. The experiment confirmed that the specificity and expression of prompts significantly affect the stylistic completeness of the generated images. However, certain limitations were identified, such as the difficulty in generating images exactly as intended by designers and the inconsistency caused by AI’s randomness.
This study is significant in that it presents new possibilities for graphic design using generative AI. Future research may expand into various design styles and serve as foundational data for developing effective collaboration models between AI and designers. Beyond simply utilizing technology, this study contributes to establishing new design methodologies in the AI era.
