1763 계미통신사행과 한일 관계의 변화 탐색 -충돌과 갈등 양상을 중심으로- = The Kyemi Journey of Tongsinsa(the delegation to Japan) in 1973 and The Investigation on Changing Relation Between Korea and Japan -focused on aspects of conflicts and discord-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper set aims to reveal conflict points, causes and aspects of exchanges between Korea and Japan, then based on results, to investigate degree and meaning of changing relation between two countries through Kyemi journey of Tongsinsa(the delegation to Japan) as a main text. Kyemi journey of Tongsinsa was the last visit to Edo with Joseon`s delegation. We could confirmed facts on exchange cultures and communications through the report of this journey written by Jo am, Nam Okwon, Won Junggeo, Sung Daejung, Kim Ingyem and etc. However vestiges of rupture and disconnect still remained in the other side of exchanges and communications, and sometimes these burst up in specific surrounds and conditions. Changing several rituals surrounded the ritual of passing on official documents incommoded Joseon delegations and distortions of ancient history and Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. Introduction and prevalence of Japanese ancient study against neo-Confucian fully discombobulate Joseon delegations too. Especially murdering Choi Cheonjong on theirs way home in Osaca emblematically showed disconnection and disruption of Joseon delegations journey. This accident brought many disputes. This conflict represented changes relation between two countries as it is. Things which were not existed or little stood out arouse in the period of Joseon delegations journey. Particularly, because these affairs and accidents happened in the conflict between Joseon`s diplomatic neighbor policy based on neo-Confucian and Sinocentrism and Japan`s diplomatic policy for anti neo-Confucian and anti Sinocentrism. Therefore finding and trimming on disconnection burst from gab between exchange and communications and vestiges of rupture are used for not only correcting relation between two countries but also investigating differences on interchange cultures, history cognition, and world view.
