시진핑 3기 체제의 정치 및 정책적 함의 분석 = An Analysis on Political and Policy Implications of Xi Jinping‘s 3rd Term

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Xi Jinping’s 3rd term began since the CCP’s 20th Congress and the 1st plenum of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Xi Jinping’s 3rd term is characterized as Xi’s absolute dictatorship and Xijiajun’s monopoly of political power. The dictatorship system has multiple implications on China’s politics. The most significant implication is substantial degeneration of China’s institutionalization in term of political power. It is to bring about increasing inflexibility in political and policy decision making processes and degenerating political resilience of the Chinese politics. Also, it means rising instabilities in China’s politics, economy, and foreign policy. The paper examines the Xi’s 3rd term system focusing on the degeneration of political institutionalization. Lastly, it anticipates policy directions of the Xi’s 3rd term, and then draws its political implications.
