하이데거와 데리다에서 이중기재 = 철학적 치료법으로서의 해체

국문 초록 (Abstract)

해체를 부정적인 비판으로서가 아니라 긍정적인 교정(矯正)으로서 수용하기 위한 관건은 해체의 전략적인 방법에 대한 이해에 놓여 있다고 생각된다. 이 논문에서 필자는 해체의 이중기재 방법에서 텍스트와 글쓰기라는 사상(事象) 자체에 충실한 엄밀성을 확인할 수 있으며, 이러한 엄밀성이 이중기재를 형이상학적 일탈로부터 학문적 탐구 과정을 보호하기 위한 조치로 간주할 수 있게 한다는 나의 신념을 입증하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 최선의 방법은 하이데거와 데리다가 철학적 전통에 접근하는 방식, 즉 파괴와 해체를 비교 고찰하는 것이라고 생각된다. 이러한 방법으로 필자는 먼저 데리다에서 이중기재를 규정하는 ‘차연’(差延) 운동에 지배되는 ‘일반적 텍스트’의 본성을 해명한 다음, 하이데거에서 왜 ‘존재의 역운’이 사상가나 시인에게 “양설”(兩舌)을 요구하는지 해명하였다. 이 두 가지 유형의 이중기재에 대한 좀 더 면밀한 고찰을 통하여, 우리는 다음과 같은 사실을 확인할 수 있게 되었다. 즉, 두 사상가가 존재 역사와 차연 운동에 제각기 응답하기 위하여 이중기재를 필요로 한다는 것, 그리고 양자 사이에 드러나는 미묘한 차이는 텍스트의 역사적 의미에 대한 인식 차이로 귀착한다는 것 등이다. 텍스트의 역사적 의미는 단순히 ‘근원 신화’와만 관련되어 있지 않고, 글쓰기의 본질에 대한 통찰과도 관련되어 있다. 이러한 관련은 앞으로의 연구를 위해 남겨진 과제라 할 수 있겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

At the threshold between acknowledging deconstruction as a positive cure and rejecting it as a negative critique, I believe, lies a mode of understanding of the strategic method of deconstruction. In this paper, I want to give textual proofs enough to support my belief that we could find in the method of "double register" a rigour faithful to text in general and writing as things themselves and that on the account of it’s rigour it could be taken for a measure to keep our scientific research from the metaphysical aberrance. It seems the best way to achieve this purpose for us to examine Heidegger’s and Derrida’s approach to philosophical tradition, i.e. "Destruktion" and "d？construction" respectively and comparatively. Along this way we explicated first in Derrida, the nature and structure of "the general text" and "diff？rance" which determine double register and then in Heidegger, the reason why "die Geschick des Seyns" calls the thinker to the "Zwiesprache" as a respective double register. From a close investigation into two types of double register we arrived at a position to affirm that two thinkers require "double register" to respond respectively to the "Seinsgeschichte" and the "mouvement of diff？rance" and that the delicate differences between them boil down to the difference between their appreciations of the historical meaning of a text. This meaning does not bearing only on "the myth of origin", but on the insight into the essence of writing in general. And such a relationship would be a task left for a future inquiry.
