巴金小说中的韩国人形象研究——以《火》为中心 = Korean Figures Shown in Novels of Bajin: Focused on Fires

This thesis examines Bajin's understanding of Koreans through observing Korean figures in <The Story of Hair> and 《Fires》. Firstly, because the basis for the two pieces was You Ja-myung, an pro-independece anarchist in China, his life will be explored in advance. After Korea became separated, studies on the independence movement of nationalistic or communistic perspective was active while research on anarchists were rare. Shedding new light upon his activity may fill up the vacancy created meanwhile. Secondly, borderless friendship between Korean and Chinese anarchists who stand up against oppressors hindering construction of a free, equal society during the Sino-Japanese War will be appraised. It may allow us to have a closer look at the original form of a cosmopolitan we now aspire.
As observed in <The Story of Hair> and 《Fires》, Bajin understands Korean's circumstances mainly through interacting with Korean anarchists and builds friendships transcending nationality. In the end, the perspective toward viewing human and the world and acting accordingly is a matter of importance in value judgment not only in the past history but also in current cases.
