    This paper reviews the status of conventional market and government’s modernization supporting business through current studying, verifies the status and reality of Gogsung’s conventional market, presents the problem and an improvement direction for Gogsung’s conventional market by SWOT analysis , reviews the feasibility according to a moving plan.
    As a result of analysis, it is reasonable to proceed a modernization plan business by securing moving property since it has many potential dangerous factors such as a poor traffic condition for surrounding area, land filling infrastructure setting up fund and excessive expense for compensation of private commercial building due to narrow market places and poor improvement condition for low level.
    However, a feasibility investigation is required in advance to set up a demonstrational mart type regular saturday market and a basic plan which includes professional’s opinion by making common ideas with Gogsung residents and merchant, which a commercial right development centering around Gogsung and small town development business is closely connected, because Gogsung 5 day-market facility modernization business is a large governmental business which requires approximately 10 million Won.
