대학생의 통학 통행시간대 선택행태의 분석 = Analysis of Home Departure Time and School Departure Time Choices for University Students' Commuting Trips

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 대학생의 등교 및 하교 통행시간대에 대한 선택행태를 분석하고자 하였다. 대학생의 통학통행의 경우 통행시간대의 선택 폭이 다양하다는 점을 고려하면 대학생의 통행시간대 선택행태의 분석이 갖는 의의를 알 수 있다.
본 연구에서는 대학생의 등교 통행시간대와 하교 통행시간대 선택행태를 분석하고자 하였다. 대학생의 등교 및 하교 통행시간대 선택은 대학생 통행자의 개별적인 특성(성별, 나이, 학년 등)과 출발지에서 목적지까지의 통행에 영향을 주는 요인(교통수단, 등교소요시간, 하교소요시간, 강의실까지의 접근성 등)에 따라 다를 수 있다. 바로 이러한 점을 감안하여 본 연구에서는 등교 및 하교 통행시간대 선택행태를 분석하기 위하여 로짓모형을 추정하고, 모형의 추정결과를 논의하였다.
본 연구에서 추정된 대학생의 등교 및 하교 통행시간대 선택의 이항로짓모형은 통계적 측면이나 행태적 측면에서 볼 때 대체로 타당한 분석결과를 보여준다. 등교 통행시간대 선택모형의 추정결과를 보면, 나이, 교통수단, 성별, 승용차주차장에서 강의실까지의 도보시간, 버스정류장에서 강의실까지의 도보시간이 등교 통행시간대 선택에 의미있는 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 그리고 하교 통행시간대 선택모형의 추정결과를 보면, 나이, 교통수단, 성별이 하교 통행시간대 선택에 의미있는 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.

This research develops models of home departure time and school departure time choices for university students' commuting trips. Binomial logit model was employed for this research. Bata from students of Yeungnam University, collected in 1999, were used for empirical estimation of model parameters.
The empirical results confirmed several behavioral aspects associated with home departure time and school departure times choices for university students' commuting trips. The paper presents a discussion on implications that can be inferred from the empirical results. Finally, future potential research questions are also discussed.
