More than 100 specimens of the conchostracan fossils were collected from the dark shale beds of the Chinju Formation, Chinju city, Kyongsangnam-do, Korea.
For the sake of appreciate about the morphology of the fossil, author makes mention of the recent conchostraca briefly.
About 20 comparatively well preserved specimens were photographed and observed.
Among them Yanjiestheria kyongsangensis and others belonging to genus Euestheria
and Neodiestheria are contained.
