국내 특수교육공학 관련 연구의 동향과 과제 = A Synthesis of the Special Education Technology Literature

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the present study was to suggest future research directions in the field of special education technology by synthesizing the related articles in the field. A total of 73 articles published between 1994 and 2004 across eight different special education journals was examined in light of research methodology, disability category, age group referenced, dependent variables, targeted curriculum area, and key words.
Results indicated that special education technology research efforts seemed to be rather limited in that the themes, methodology, targeted curriculum area were narrowly focused. More systematic intervention study was mainly suggested with adopting a relevant term for "special education technology" and research on pre-and in-service teacher training for future research areas. 국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 특수교육분야에서 진행되어온 특수교육공학 관련 연구들을 종합 분석하여 현재까지의 연구를 정리하고 앞으로의 연구 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 1995년부터 2004년 까지 특수교육 전문 학술지에 게재된 논문들을 분석, 자료로 활용하여 특수교육공학 분야가 특수교육 관련 학술지에서 얼마나 폭 넓게 연구되고 있는지, 그리고 연구형태, 대상 장애영역, 대상 연령 수준, 교과과정 영역, 주제어를 분석하였다. 연구결과 국내의 특수교육공학 관련 연구들은 개념의 소개 단계를 거쳐 중재 등 적용의 단계로 접어들었다고 할 수 있으나 아직 연구의 형태 및 주제, 중재의 종속변인, 대상 연령층이 다소 제한적이었다. 이러한 결과들을 바탕으로 특수교육 공학의 실제적 적용을 다룬 중재연구의 확대, 관련 용어의 통일, 교사양성 과정 연구 등의 연구방향을 제시하였다.
