Of the various methods of incorporating computer technologies in the field of education, the World Wide Web shows us the greatest p:ltential for supporting face-to-face classroom instruction in many ways. With the help of the Web in university setting, all of the 며Itici pants including instructor can share possible instructional materials, many different experiences, active interactions, and even learning outcomes. According to this context, this research was intended to suggest cyber instructional strategies and tactics for the purpose of improving the quality of instruction itself and learners’ satisfaction. Actually those strategies are based on the practical experiences and many trials and errors for four semesters using the cyber space called “Web classroom within personal Web page rather than theoretical research. To bridge gaps between theory and practice, theoretical backup in relation to those strategies and tactics is needed. Moreover lessons from those experiences and challenges for successful application of Web, as ‘learning communities’, are suggested in order to help learners’ learning activities As the instructional use of Web 뼈comes widespread, combinations between cyber instruction and classroom-based education may be accelerated to create learner-centered environments. Even though this cyber space is very helpful for promoting various learning activities, accessing to Web classroom frequently can lead to feelings of being overwhelmed from the side of the learners as well as instructor. Besides the lack of the information-oriented mind associated with emerging new technology is a significant challenge in using the Web for instruction. That’s why we need good cyber instructional strategies to relieve their psychological burden and encourage their voluntary participation.
