복합문화 지역을 위한 교육정책 개발 연구 : (ASSESSMENT OF EDUCATIONAL VIEW AND NEEDS OF PARENTS IN YUSUNG-GU, TAEJON METROPOLITAN CITY) = A STUDY EDUCATIONAL POLICIES FOR MULTICULTURAL COMMUNITY

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 문화(직업)적 배경이 서로 다른 세 집단-과학자/군인/일반 주민-으로 구성된 대전시 유성구의 학부모를 대상으로 교육 정책과 지역 교육 운영에 관한 인식을 조사 분석하여 지역 교육의 정책을 개발하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 계획되었다 즉, 유성구에 소재한 초·중등 학교 중 학부모의 중심적인 직업을 기준으로, 과학자 집단 학교 6개교, 군인 집단 학교 2개교, 일반 주민 집단 학교 5개교 총 13개교 892명의 학부모를 표집하여 ① 교육 관련 가치관과 자녀 학력 기대, ② 학교 교육 운영의 실제, ③ 지역 교육 현안, 그리고 ④ 교육 정책 일반에 대한 집단간 인식 정도를 비교 분석하였다.
유성구 소재 학교의 학부모들의 견해에 비추어, 연구 대상 지역의 교육 정책이나 학교 운영의 시사점을 제시하면 다음과 같다 우선, 대전시 차원에서 현행 고등학교 단일 학구제를 동부 학구와 서부 학구로 이원화 할 필요가 있으며, 유성구 지역의 연구 단지 내에 인문계 고등학교의 설치가 요망된다 다음으로, 지역 교육 환경 조성의 차원에서 유성구의 관광 특구 지정 범위를 축소할 것이 요구되며, 전국에서 모범적으로 시행되고 있는 기초 자치 단체의 관내 학교 학생에 대한 급식 지원 정책은 지속, 확대될 필요가 있다 마지막으로, 단위 학교 운영의 차원에서 유성구 지역에는 연구 단지와 군인 교육 단지가 조성되어 있으므로 이러한 지역적 특수성이 학교의 교육(특별)활동 프로그램에 반영할 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study intends to suggest comprehensive implications for developing school-level policies in Yusung- Gu through assessment of parents' view and needs on educational issues and school management.
For the purposes of this study, eight hundreds twenty nine parents were sampled from three cultural(vocational) backgrounds, scientists from Taedok Science Town, military officiers from military school town, and natives from downtown in Yusung-Gu.
The proposal for developing educational policies of its community from research results are as follows ;
First, (for the formation of educational policies in Taejon city) the researchers propose that the united school zone system for high school students is to altered into eastern zone system and western zone system respectively And, The academic high school needs to establish in Taedok Science Town additionally Second, (for educational environment of community) The area of special tourism designated by government need to reduce for students of schools located in Yusung-Gu Futhermore, researchers propose that the self-governing community sustain and extend school lunch supporting policy for local schools. Third, The researchers propose that individual schools need to develop the extra-curriculum related to regional circumstances composed of science town and military town.
