청소년의 형제자매폭력에 대한 부모-자녀상호관계 연구-자기통제력의 매개효과를 중심으로- = Self-Control of Adolescent as Mediator of the Link Between Parent-Child Interaction and Sibling Violence

국문 초록 (Abstract)

형제자매폭력은 가정폭력 중에서도 높은 발생률을 보이고 있고, 청소년에게 신체적 상해와 정서적 어려움 등의 부정적인 영향을 준다. 따라서 이의 발생 과정에 대한 탐구를 통해 형제자매폭력의 예방차원에 대한 사회복지적 개입 마련이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 청소년의 부모자녀상호작용을 부와 모로 구분하여 형제자매폭력에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 자기통제력의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 서울과 경기에 재학 중인 중학교 3학년생부터 고등학교 2학년 학생 1140명을 대상으로 분석한 결과 조사대상자 가운데 38.4%가 지난 1년간 형제자매에게 신체적으로 한 번 이상 폭력을 행사한 것으로 나타났다. 청소년의 부 또는 모의 상호작용과 자기통제력과의 관계에서 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 자기통제력은 형제자매폭력에 유의미한 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 부 또는 모의 상호작용과 형제자매폭력간의 관계에 있어서 자기통제력의 매개효과를 검증한 결과 모두 완전매개효과가 있음이 확인되었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 청소년들의 형제자매폭력을 감소시키기 위해 청소년의 자기통제력 증진과 긍정적 부모-자녀상호작용을 위한 사회복지 실천적 개입 방향을 제언하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study examined the parent-child interaction, by distinguishing father and mother's effect, affected the incidence of child abuse through the measuring of self-control as a mediator. Survey questionnaires were applied to sample of 1140 students in middle school and high school. The results indicated that 34% of students suffers from sibling violence at least once during previous 12 months. The parent-child interaction, both mother-child and father-child interaction, influenced self-control, and it fully mediated between parent-child interaction and sibling violence of these samples. The more father-child and mother-child interaction the respondents have, the more self-control the youths have, in the end, self-control of youth is likely to cause an increase in sibling abuse. Implications of the findings are discussed.
